The best way would be cooking the cobs directly over charcoal - that's how street vendors do in India.
The other way is to cook it over a gas flame, and that's how i do, using a tawa [metal plate] with holes.
- Corn on the cob
- Salted butter
- lime/lemon juice
- freshly ground pepper
- Roast the corn until well cooked and charred.
- Place the corn on a serving dish and top with lime juice, soft butter and pepper.
- You can also spread the butter on top with half lemon.
