Mashed Potatoes and Red Salmon

Potatoes boiled, peeled and roughly mashed, drizzled with extra virgin olive oil and salt are simply delicious. No other dressing is needed.
The recipe with butter and cream is something else and i will make it some other time. Actually it would be better to call them crushed potatoes.
So, i tasted the crushed potatoes and they were perfect, the canned red salmon too was excellent, tasting like cold ocean [Alaskan, US product], and then i destroyed all that goodness when i topped it with mayo diluted with lime juice and mustard.

Mayo and mustard both are good, so i don't blame them, but they are good over something that you need to cover up, and today that was not the case because it was better than good.
Simplicity is always the best when food is high-quality, so, don't make the same mistake i made today.

The right dressing for this dish is only extra virgin olive oil drizzled over the salmon and the potatoes.
