Tagliatelle with Jamie Oliver

I am going to make them as soon as the temperature goes below 30°C [83°F].
There isn't any Fontina here but Cheddar and Lofabu are already in my fridge with Parmigiano Reggiano waiting to melt together.
Jamie Oliver is my favorite celebrity chef, simply genial, very talented and inspirational.

  4. i am not sure either, in fact i think that broccoli and cheese is a British combo, maybe also American, but i am going to try it anyway just because at least once i try everything [well, almost].

  7. no, that doesn't make you British, it makes you Indian, i mean that you don't have a broccoli tradition in your life, so, anything is okay, if it tastes good to you why not? But i grew up with broccoli without cheese, at the most pecorino may be the right match for broccoli, for sure no parmigiano and not either fontina. But nowadays the world is getting smaller and smaller, strange marriages happen between people born the other side of the planet, so why not marry broccoli and fontina? Still my feeling is that broccoli needs no cheese but sometimes he may likes to make love with pecorino. With fontina it looks like an arranged marriage ah ah ah

  8. Oh, i love Japanese curry, i used to make it so long ago with meat and few vegetables in big chunks. The recipe was from a book that now i think is in the hands of Enrica. Would love to have a look to that book again. Okay so maybe i am going to make the tagliatelle tomorrow 'cos i have not much of anything else to eat.
