"Pasta e Broccoli" with Almonds Topping

Bollire la pasta corta insieme ai broccoli, e intanto rosolare in padella le mandorle spellate e tagliate in due con l'aglio e il peperoncino, dove poi si metterà la pasta e i broccoli a insaporirsi prima di servire.

  • Pasta [short curved tube]
  • Broccoli
  • Almonds
  • Garlic
  • Hot Chili
  • Anchovies paste [optional]
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  1. Boil the pasta and broccoli together.
  2. Blanch, peel, cut in half a handful of almonds and fry them in extra virgin olive oil. Keep the almonds for the topping and the oil for the next step.
  3. Just a minute before the pasta gets ready, saute on low fire some minced garlic, red chili and anchovies paste in the same frying pan. 
  4. Toss the pasta in the pan and serve topped with the almonds.
